Old and New

Something from my early steps in 2003 and this something begun to be touched up 2008.. take a wild guess which one is which ;)
It is based off Digital Reality's game 'Imperium Galactica' (yes, the old one from the late 90's) and represents the Type III late game cruiser of the Cahudhri class (strange name, huh?)

It is an animation I did a month or two after I really started using MAX, back then in the R3 I think. I thought I was god when I showed this animation to my teachers. Now I look at it an laugh - if I really focused, these 'models' and 'effects' would probably be an afternoon worth of work.. ;)
