That was one grueling day of fixing models.. either the exporter is terribly buggy, or our engine is..I can't tell whether case is true. No one model could be exported one way. Each needed a custom orientation and scaling to work properly in our game. As the past few posts already hinted at, we're going animation.The last assignment for animation class was basically a freestyle animation, and the team decided to build a trailer type animation based on my novel.Here's a higher resolution work in progress shot...I think it is obvious which show is the influence in lighting the scene. Today at 01:00am morning we wrapped up our last scene... which concludes a roughly 52 hour shoot ranging from sunday-tuesday and friday-saturday. All in all it resulted in 5 hours of material to be sighted and cut (and that for a film barely 10 minutes long)...I'd say it was a blast to shoot it, but equally tiresome.. plus I have now some pileup of work from University lying around. *shrug* Here

Graphics issues have been resolved. Turns out not the graphics drivers were the culprit, but the IntelliPoint software from Microsoft.Downgraded to an earlier version, now it's smooth sailing ;)There's a busy week ahead with some project work lingering, plus some film shooting going on this weekend...

I placed my order for the new Q9450 processor on February 14th, 2008. I was told, the processor would be ready by the beginning of March. March 11th, I asked where it was, and was told, the processor was pushed back to March 27th. That was yesterday. No sign of a Q9450 in my hands yet.. Another thing I started besides the Type 18 cruiser.. Great Light Station is a Solar System farpost located in the Oort cloud of Sol. Basically a larger listening post combined with a deep space training facility, as well as a rallying point and signal beacon for the fleet.This, of course, is only one of the facilities arms.

This is it - The Type 18 cruiser is done in a rough way. The general shape of the vessel is now as I intended it to be. NFPv4 was a flash-only site I did as a project for one of my University classes during the second semester.
